Almost the End of the Year

And such a year it’s been. Good in some regards but bad in many others.

in any case, the first thing I’ve come to do is upload a new piece of artwork that I have been sitting on for several months (shame on me, I know).

Oil pastel on 16″ × 12″ canvas paper

I was commissioned to draw this by some dear family friends of ours; to memorialize the man on the right, whom had recently passed away.

Second of all, I finally got those security warnings that been plaguing my page for a while worked out, so we probably won’t have to worry about that for a while.

I did a New Drawing.

A few days ago, I was told that a friend of my mothers was having trouble accessing this site, but now that I’ve updated that security certificate somewhat, It should be somewhat viewable again.

Which is fortunate, because I just completed a commissioned drawing that I would like to share.

Pencil crayon on 9″×12″ Bristol board

The people in this drawing are friends with my sister, hence why she is giving them this drawing as a wedding gift.

I think that is all for the moment. See you when I finish something else.

Dad’s Portrait

I made a new portrait of my father as a companion piece to the portrait I did of my mother last year

We were driving home from a job in Revelstoke and we passed by the D. Dutchman’s Dairy. Dad got an ice cream cone while I opted for a chocolate milkshake.

It’s called “Dad Eating Ice Cream” and it can be found in my artwork page.

Chalk Pastel on 50cm × 65cm Fabriano Tiziano paper.
