I have recently completed a new chalk pastel portrait of my father eating Chinese food in a Sherwood Park hotel room.
Not a whole lot to say about this one, save that we were doing a job up in Sherwood Park at the time.

New family member.
May I present to you Daphne Zeta Wilson. She is my niece who has just celebrated her first birthday today!
Now would be around the time I would be getting this ready for the People’s Portrait Prize, but there doesn’t seem to have been any word on it happening yet, so it is likely that it has been postponed again.
So far my family and I have survived the Coronavirus panic relatively unscathed. With any luck life will be able to get back to whatever passes for normal these days once we all get vaccinated.
Dad’s Portrait
I made a new portrait of my father as a companion piece to the portrait I did of my mother last year
We were driving home from a job in Revelstoke and we passed by the D. Dutchman’s Dairy. Dad got an ice cream cone while I opted for a chocolate milkshake.
