It’s finally done.

Acrylic on 24″ × 31″ Canvas.

Finally!

After three years of losing and regaining interest and life just plain getting in the way, this painting of Roo (my cousin’s dog on the left; I don’t know what breed she is) being accosted by Joey (my parents’ miniature schnauzer on the right) is finally complete.

It was September of 2017 when I snapped a picture of these two. We were visiting my uncle’s farm in Viscount, Saskatchewan for a family get-together. We don’t normally bring Joey along on trips to Saskatchewan because my parents are leery about him getting loose in the fields, so this trip was a rare exception. Lots of my other relatives brought their dogs as well, and Joey seemed to enjoy his time with them well enough.

As an aside, It would seem that I forgot to put that drawing of Daphne i did last year in my gallery. WordPress isn’t letting me change the order of the pieces at the moment, so they are currently at the bottom.

An overdue painting.

Two things:

1.) I have finished another painting. This one has been in the pipeline for practically a year and I have been sitting on this since February. That was very regretful but I imagine anyone who visits this page regularly is used to it by now.

My new painting can be found in my gallery:

22″ x 18″ Acrylic on canvas.

2.) I now have a Patreon page.

I had been toying around with the idea of getting one for a while now, but then upcoming changes to their payment policies convinced me to take the plunge. I don’t really expect it to amount to much in the way of extra income, given how lax I am in making art and maintaining a web presence. Nevertheless, it’s probably a good thing to have going forward.
